Anne Andricosky is a native of Astoria, New York. She is a graduate of the City University of New York, earning a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Herbert H. Lehman College and a Masters of Music Education degree from Queens College.

She taught instrumental music in junior high schools in the New York Public School System for 8-1/2 years.

In January, 1982, she was sworn in as a police officer of the New York City Police Department. She attained the rank of Sergeant in 1987, and retired as a lieutenant in 2002. She worked in patrol, community affairs, and the Medical Division.

She was an original member of the NYPD Band, which had reestablished itself after many years of being inactive. She played tuba in the band, which performed at all the major parades in the city, including the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, St. Patrick's Day Parade, Columbus Day Parade, and many more.

Upon retiring form the NYPD she and her family relocated to Loudoun County, Virginia. She was employed by Loudoun County Public Schools for 15-1/2 years as a school bus driver.

She joined the Kings Park Band's tuba section in 2002, and is a current member of the concert band, the jazz band, and the German band, where she plays accordion. She also accompanies on piano at her church in Ashburn, Virginia.

Her hobbies include performing with all her music groups, babysitting, sports, and enjoying retirement.
