Jack Dusek holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from The Chicago College for the Performing arts of Roosevelt University. He has been a public school teacher, a full time professional military musician for the United States Army, an Army Signal Officer, a Communications Training Officer with the Arlington County Public Safety Emergency Communications Center, a Safety and Security Manager for a nonprofit organization, a Security Supervisor under contract to the Transportation Security Administration, and a shift supervisor at the Department of Defense Security Services Center. He is currently a Personnel Security Specialist under contract to a U.S. Government agency.

Jack has directed military bands and ensembles and has performed as a trumpet player with a wide variety of groups including pit orchestras for performances of shows such as "Oklahoma", "The Wiz", "Once Upon a mattress", "Guys and Dolls", “Spamalot”, “Hairspray”, and “My Fair Lady” in Chicago, South Carolina, Germany, and  Virginia. In recent years he has conducted and/or served as Music Director for productions of “Hello Dolly”, “The Music Man”, “The Wizard of Oz”, and “Spring Awakening” In addition to performing with the Kings Park Band, the 380th Army Band of the United States Army Reserve, and the Mid-Atlantic Wind Symphony, Jack is the Associate Conductor of the Alexandria Citizens Band.
